Boxhagener Platz Flea Market

boxhagenerplatz-berlinPrivate and professionals gather on the big square in Friedrichshain to sell 2nd hand, vintage clothing or furniture, decoration items, accessories, and jewels.

When: every Sundays – 10am > 6pm

How: Free – Bus n°240 stop Boxhagener Platz or tram M13 Libauer Strasse.

Flea Market at Mauer Park

The famous, mythical and biggest flea market in Berlin. On the east part of the Park, stands each Sundays a huge line of stands, selling quite a lot of clothes and shoes. Once again it’s a mix of private persons or professionals which gives a good selection of 2nd hand and vintage. There’s of course food and drinks, as well as a plant market and the Mauer Park right there where you can enjoy over summer the Bear Pit Karaoke.

When: Every Sundays all year – 9am > 6pm

Flea Market at Schöneberg Rathaus

In front of the impressive Schöneberg city hall, the flea market is definitely vintage oriented, whether we talk about fashion or decoration. Fur coats, 60’s dresses or oriental carpets are among the kind of things you will find there.

When: Each weekend all year – 8am > 4pm

How: Free entrance – Ubahn Rathaus Schöneberg or Bayerischer Platz


Trendy Markets in Berlin

Nowkölln Flowmarkt

nowkoelln-flohmarktOne of the nicest flea market in Berlin, taking place along the Kreuzberg/Neukölln canal on Maybachufer side. The environment of course but also the diversity because you find people from the neighborhood selling their clothes, some flea markets professionals and also quite a lot of designers and especially in jewels and accessories. Also a must for street food with a big range of different tastes.

When: From the end of March to October, every 2 weeks on Sundays. Check the calendar here.

Kreuzboerg Flowmarkt

Same organizers than for the Nowkölln market, this one takes place in that adorable collective garden in Kreuzberg, the Prinzessinnengarten. You’ll enjoy the same nice atmosphere and also a fantastic environment in this lush garden where flowers and vegetables joyfully grow together. Private sellers for 2nd hand, art, and design in a very mixed and friendly crowd.

When: From April to September, every 2 Sundays – 10am > 6pm –

Die Fesche Lotte – Vintage & Fashion Market

die-fesche-lotte-berlinThe first edition started in May 2016 on the lovely Kranholzplatz in Neukölln. Another Neukölln to discover, on the other side of the Ring. This vegan-friendly market takes place once a month and it’s the perfect event to hang out with friends and family. There’s a special spot for kids to play.

When: every 2nd Saturday of the day

Night Markets in Berlin

Mühlenmarkt at Griessmühle

Griessmühle is one of those indoor/outdoor and messy clubs so typical in Berlin like the mythical Bar 25 used to be. Once a month the club organizes a Friday night market where people can sell their clothes, shoes, books or anything else. Don’t expect to find rare pieces here, it’s more from everybody’s wardrobe you can buy stuff but at very cheap prices and it’s always nice to rummage around with drinks and nice music.

When: Each first Friday of the month all year –

How: Free entrance until 10 pm

Night Market at Glashaus

Next to the famous Badeshiff in the Arena facility is this small space along the Spree where different kind of events is hosted. Among them a regular night market which gathers 2nd hand and vintage clothes, furniture, and local designers.

When: More or less each month, on a Friday night, from 6 pm to 1 am –

Berlin’s Designers Markets

The Green Market

the-green-market-berlinThe green market is, as its name suggests an exclusively ecological and vegan market BUT cool and trendy. Yes Yes, it’s possible. Gourmet discoveries, especially if you are not vegan, fashion, cosmetics, decoration … the green market offers everything and you will be surprised by its innovative side. There is always good music and a corner for the kids.

When? 4 times a year each season. Check the dates on their Facebook page.

How? The place changes. Entrance generally at 2 €

The Voodoo Market (currently off)


Famous independent designers market which takes place 4 times a year and gathers a big selection of young and talented designers, all based in Berlin. An event you should not miss if you want to have a picture of the successful creative scene in Berlin. It’s also each time the opportunity to eat some delicious street food bites and excellent drinks.

When: 1 Sunday each season. Check the dates on their site

How: Venue changes, usually 1€ entrance.

Un autre Voodoo is the store associated with this market, where you will also find a nice selection of Berlin designers.
