Neukölln has quietly become Berlin’s most compelling neighbourhood for vintage fashion hunters and style wanderers. What was once a working-class district has transformed into a dynamic hub where Turkish market culture meets emerging designers and curated thrift shops.
Walk down Weserstrasse or Sonnenallee and you’ll find everything from raw-edge avant-garde pieces to perfectly preserved 70s deadstock.

Sing Blackbird
Handpicked vintage on Sanderstraße — 90s and Y2K with designer pieces in the mix, from Germany and the USA. The café that made the place famous is gone; the rails are what remained, and they got sharper. Neukölln.

Recent 2nd hand plus exclusive Berlin-based designers, for men and women. Reuterplatz Kiez. The mix is wide but there’s a clear aesthetic — if the vibe clicks, you’ll find something worth buying. Neukölln.

The Good Store
Quality second hand with a considered edit. Not the biggest floor space, but the selection is thoughtful. Neukölln.
Verdict: Reliable. Go when you have time to browse.
Vintage · Affordable
Veist
Vintage and new pieces at genuinely low prices. Classic sweaters, 80s knitwear, jeans, coats — warm welcome and a chaotic but organised space. Dress rental available (20–30€). Café Veist next door does menswear. Neukölln.
Verdict: The dress rental alone is worth bookmarking.

Upcycled and handmade designer fashion. Small, individual, not for everyone — but if it’s your thing, there’s nothing like it in the neighbourhood. Neukölln.

Kaalee
Locally produced handmade jewellery plus a considered edit of multibrand fashion (ICHI, Naketano, Ragwear, Casual Friday and others). The neighbourhood go-to for gifts and individual pieces. Neukölln.
Verdict: Good for gifts, better for earrings.
Upcycling · Local designers
CVW Studio
Friedelstraße 35 — the former Corvera Vargas, renamed and relocated to the Reuterkiez. An upcycling label founded by two women, with independent Berlin labels and a small edit of curated vintage alongside. The alpaca knitwear is the signature. Not second hand in the classic sense — but if your taste runs toward “nobody else has this”, this is the address.
Verdict: For the piece you’ll still wear in ten years.
Practical Tips
Best time to visit
Most shops open around noon and close 18–19h. Tuesdays and Fridays add the Turkish market on Maybachufer; Saturdays the canal fills up fast. Sunday: almost everything is closed — plan Saturday.
Getting There
U7/U8 to Hermannplatz or U8 to Schönleinstraße. The shops cluster between Weserstraße and Reuterplatz — everything is walkable from there.
Local Tips
Start at Reuterplatz, finish at the canal. The route is the reward: coffee on Weserstraße, ice cream on Maybachufer, and the shops in between.
