Sonnenschein Verified listing

A few streets from the Kurfuerstendamm and its luxury addresses, Sonnenschein is a small second hand paradise, with some vintage too, and labels of the same order as the ones in the windows nearby. Because the women who shop on the Ku'damm eventually resell what they bought, and a good part of it comes here.

The racks are packed full, and that's the point, you come here to go through them. The shop lives up to its name, sunny when the weather allows it, and cosy enough that digging never feels like work.

What is worth digging for

The selection is good across the board, and the accessories are a real part of it, scarves and belts above all.
The labels run Marc Cain, Max Mara, Bogner, Hugo Boss, Laurel, that kind of range, at a fraction of what they cost new. A shirt around 40 euros, a leather jacket around 70, a bag around 60.
