Shop vibe
Minimal, curated, quietly expensive
Most vintage shops in Berlin ask you to dig. Calypt does the opposite. The rails are spaced, the pieces hang facing you, and everything on them has already been chosen. It feels closer to a small gallery than to a second hand shop, which means you can be in and out in twenty minutes holding something good.
The focus is narrow and deliberate: 90s and Y2K designer, with a bias towards clubwear, athleisure and shoes. Recent rails have carried Dolce & Gabbana, Mugler, Just Cavalli, Patrizia Pepe and Miss Sixty. Menswear and womenswear both.
The main store is on Wrangelstrasse in Kreuzberg, open Monday to Saturday from one in the afternoon until eight. The second one came back to Boddinstrasse in Neukoelln in June 2026: smaller, Wednesday to Saturday, same afternoon hours. If you are walking Kreuzberg into Neukoelln anyway, you can take both.
Not cheap, not silly either. Tops and skirts sit around 70€ to 80€, dresses and heels around 120€, and the heavier pieces run higher: a Dolce & Gabbana denim jacket at 190€, a Mugler bomber at 260€. For labelled 90s designer in this condition, that is fair.
You want one strong piece rather than a bag full of maybes. You are dressing for a night out and you refuse to look like everyone else. You hate rummaging.
Skip it if you are hunting basics by the kilo. Wrong shop entirely.
